What we leave behind

In What we leave behind, Ivgi&Greben traces the traces people leave behind and the echoes of the past that persist. Seven dancers move between looking forward and looking back, in an ongoing dialogue between past and present, art and life.

At the center is a colorful edifice of paint constructed from the bequeathed work of painter Ruven Levav. This structure transforms into a refuge and a source of new imagination. From this place, personal actions and painterly tableaux full of big feelings and subtle connections unfold.

A penetrating dance performance about legacy, connection and the capacity for transformation, about what we take with us, what we leave behind and how nothing ever completely disappears.
