WHO ARE WE?
A dynamic, innovative theater, located at the edge of the Stadswandelpark
Since 1964 the Stadsschouwburg Eindhoven has existed, which since 2007 is called Parktheater Eindhoven. The Parktheater is one of the larger theaters in the Netherlands and, with a broad programming of over 400 performances per theater season, annually reaches about 200,000 visitors from Eindhoven and surroundings.
A theater with a Hertog Jan zaal (944 seats), a Philipszaal 510 seats) and a Kameleon hall (150 seats). Parktheater is also founder and member of cooperative Pand P, a theater with a large hall (110 seats), middle hall (56 seats) and a small hall (25 seats).
From its birth in 1964, Parktheater was given the mission to provide residents of the city and region with multiple perspectives, cultures, tastes and colors. The words we symbolized for this in the modern mission statement: Touch Each Other. This has since evolved into providing more perspective, more actively translated into the mission More Than You....
In recent years, Parktheater has developed from being primarily a provider of in-house performances for its own audiences to also being a co-creator of activities, performances and initiatives that touch and connect people. Both in house and outside house, for both known and unknown audiences, for both theater lovers and lovers with a distance to the theater market.
The Parktheater 's main objective is to offer a wide and diverse range for a large and broad audience.
