Come wander through the grounds of the Sectie-C creative hub and experience THINX on tour up close. The THINX open evening at Sectie-C takes the form of an afternoon-long performance festival. Three talented young artists form the heart of the program, surrounded by installations, music, and performances spread throughout the grounds. Expect a relaxed, lively afternoon full of art and surprises. With plenty of time in between to hang out for a drink, a snack, and a great atmosphere.

Sectie-C is a site bubbling with makers' energy. And that's exactly what THINX is all about: giving makers room to grow, explore and share their work while it is still in development. That is why Parktheater Eindhoven is bringing THINX to Sectie-C. Here, performance does not land on a play alone, but in the middle of a landscape where people make every day.

The program

The program features a variety of talented theater artists who will be presenting performances throughout the venue.

Trash Club - The Deconstruction Zone (2026) | Performance
Welcome to the Landfill: the place where everything that was once loved—and has past event thrown away—never truly disappears. Waste—human and otherwise—transforms into fantastic creatures that explore the wasteland diep in your trash can. There’s drama! There’s action! Applause for the artist and the oak tree!

Trash Club is a performance collective of international students from the Design Academy Eindhoven. The group creates performances about consumerism, with set design and costumes that acknowledge waste as the megastar it is. Trash Club creates single-use performances; during THINX, members Chantal Kluitman and Erle Hobbs will perform *The Deconstruction Zone*.

Xandry van den Besselaar and Johnny Mirer – Carte Blanche | Audio installation
In the audio installation *Met mij*, a woman calls her lover—leaving a message on his answering machine—to hear his voice one last time. She tells her lover about her daily life without him. Through the messages, a picture emerges af of their relationship and how the woman must say goodbye following the sudden death of her lover. It is a poetic monologue about the search for comfort and perspective in the midst of deep despair.

Please note: This performance has a limited capacity of 6 people. Please register at the information desk on the day of the show.

Bas van de Ven & Tom Jacobs - The Transformator | Experiment
Tom Jacobs explores the interaction between people and art. In some of his work, he adopts an anthropological perspective. Jacobs holds up a mirror to humanity and reveals how people and societies exhibit unconscious behaviors.

Bas van de Ven is a musical theater artist currently participating in a program with THINX. Absurdity and imagination are central elements of his work. For this unique collaboration, they are joining forces to create, experiment, and challenge one another during a residency at Sectie-C.

Alienated Performance Art - Gamechanger | Dance
In a world that revolves around performance, efficiency, and a packed schedule, we all lose our sense of joy from time to time. But what happens when we stop seeing life as a series of obligations and start seeing it as a game? The dance performance *Gamechanger* by choreographer Kelly Vanneste invites you to rediscover that playful freedom. A performance for anyone who wants to trade the pressure of “having to” for the freedom of “playing” for a while.

“Gamechanger” will be the second full-length production by Alienated, the Tilburg-based dance company led by choreographer Kelly Vanneste and artistic director Martijn Schipper. The company is known for a pure movement language that combines contemporary dance, intense partner work, and acrobatic tricks.

Installations, music, food & drinks
There are also several interactive installations outside. Jelle Mastenbroek is known for his installations that resemble machines, musical clocks, or life-size music boxes. In a playful way and with a touch of humor, they make you think. Studio Noké is a Dutch design duo formed by Moon Seop Seo and Katharina Sook Wilting. Together, they create spatial installations that explore the connection between nature and art. The collective Bottom Shelf Records will provide the musical accompaniment this afternoon.

In addition to live music and theater, are you in the mood for a fun evening filled with French charm and all-you-can-eat mussels? KEI Moule! brings the atmosphere of French mussel nights to Sectie-C. Expect: all-you-can-eat mussels, including vegetarian and vegan options, cozy tables, and a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks. A delightful way to wrap up the summer af —à la française! You can buy individual tickets here.
