Twice per theater season, we organize the THINX Open Night—an evening featuring short plays and performances. It offers young theater artists the opportunity to test out their material, share it with an audience, and build an audience for their work.

It also offers visitors the unique opportunity to get to know various artists in a single evening and be surprised by a wide range of genres, styles, and forms of performance. This creates an inspiring encounter between artists and the audience, centered on discovery, experimentation, and exchange. The lineup consists of artists who are part of both the THINX Artist-in-Residence and Lab programs.

About THINX
THINX is a talent development program run by the Parktheater that provides a play for theater artists from the region. We believe that investing in talented artists is investing in the future of the performing arts.

The new generation of theater makers is taking a different approach to the definition of theater; social themes are becoming more important, and creators are engaging in cross-pollination with other disciplines. For example, they combine film with dance, explore on-location theater, or produce a live podcast. We enjoy working closely with them because we believe in their creative power, vision, and fresh perspectives. By adapting to the creators’ needs and facilitating their work, they can focus on developing their artistic signature. Within THINX, they explore and push the current boundaries of theater, allowing new combinations of performers and audiences to come together. Together, we are shaping the theater of the future.

During this THINX Open evening, the creators will share short excerpts from the shows and performances they are currently working on.
