From the perspective of a father trying to explain to his children what is happening in the world, Van Kersbergen interweaves personal stories with social themes of racism, conflict, identity and resistance.

The performance has past event nominated for the Theo d'Or, selected by the Dutch Theatre Jury, and programmed at North Sea Jazz. With poetic urgency, deep emotion and musical layering, Van Kersbergen touches on something that many feel, but have difficulty putting into words.
