As a visitor, you enter a dark space. Slowly, your eyes, your ears, and your body adjust. Out of the darkness, a universe unfolds in which movement, sound, and scenography merge. Dancers move through an environment where objects come to life upon touch, and every action adds a new layer to what you check and feel.
Interval is about the “in-between”: the period in which we live, move, adapt, and let go. It is a physical experience of transience and growth, of continually rewriting ourselves in relation to the world around us.
This performance invites you to check differently, to feel differently. To not understand time, but to experience it.
Step inside. Slow down. Experience the space in between.
Interval is a collaboration between Misiconi, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, V2_ Lab for the Unstable Media, Theaterfestival Boulevard, and Theater Zuidplein.
Sensory Zones
At Misiconi, we believe that a performance truly comes to life when visitors can experience it in their own way. While some prefer to be completely immersed in light, sound, and interaction, others prefer a bit of distance and perspective. With that in mind, Misiconi developed the Stimulation Zones: a new way of welcoming the audience where you, as a visitor, decide for yourself how much prikkels you want to experience. Check how the Stimulation Zones work here.
New: Pay what you want
A new series for more adventure in your performance choices. To go 'together' more often. To let yourself be surprised. Pay what you want applies to many family & youth performances, new makers, special productions and groundbreaking programming. When ordering your tickets, you can choose from three different prices. Choose the price that suits you. With your extra contribution, you make it possible for someone with less financial room to attend a performance. In this way, together we ensure that discovering theater remains accessible to everyone.
