But what if we're actually talking about survival?
In this performance she dives beneath the surface of love and relationships. Because what we feel does not come from nowhere. It is shaped by history, by what generations before us have carried, by patterns that still work through in how we love, trust and protect ourselves.
Three performers move between hip-hop, African and Caribbean diaspora and contemporary dance. Their bodies carry that history - but are also looking for a way out. For something new.
Film, spoken word and music draw you deeper inside, into a world where time layers intertwine and where love is not a romantic idea, but a choice that chafes.
RIDE OR DIE doesn't ask if you believe in love.
It asks: what are you willing to break through to really choose it?
