About Raymond Mens
Raymond Mens (1986) is an American expert and political scientist, known from TV programs such as Vandaag Inside, Nieuws van de Dag, WNL op Zondag and Pauw & De Wit. There he points out current affairs from the United States in a sharp and accessible way. He himself compares his role to that of a soccer analyst: with an eye for the game and as objectively as possible.
He also makes the popular podcast Amerika in 15 minuten, in which he goes deeper into American politics. His previous theater lectures Lang Leve Amerika (Long Live America) and Nieuws als Wapen ) together attracted over 33,000 visitors and received rave reviews.
About Thomas van Groningen
Thomas van Groningen (1990) is a journalist and presenter, well known from radio and television. Among other things, he is presenter of Nieuws van de Dag and regularly appears in De Oranjezomer.
Previously he made his name as a political reporter in The Hague, and since then he has past event a regular interpreter of the news. With his sharp questions, energy and sense of current events, he knows how to make complex political developments clear and accessible.
In addition to his work on radio and television, Van Groningen is a much sought-after chairman of the day and interviewer. With his journalistic instinct and natural curiosity, he makes every conversation substantively strong and lively.
