In Breaking Generations, choreographer and dancer Constantin Trommlitz, puts virtuosity in breakdance battles under the microscope. He shakes up the idea that age gets in the way of virtuosity. Constantin thus exposes his personal struggle with the aging body without embarrassment.
In this performance, a young and an old dancer meet on the floor and we witness two different body languages trying to engage in conversation. As a maker, Constantin dares to be vulnerable in a world where vulnerability is not always celebrated.
