Pearls from 10 years of Mies-en-Scène
Fri 18 Sep '26

What happens when you put the different groups of people with whom you have made documentary theater in the past 10 years together on a play? Ex-homeless people, Stratummers, refugees, the elderly, Latinos, youth & clients of the GGZE. They all share the play together during MES FEST.

With this fest, the Eindhoven documentary theater company Mies-en-Scène celebrates its 10th anniversary with its community. From moving monologues to hip-hop choreos with the elderly. All the gems of the past 10 years will pass in review.

Enter the stadium, enjoy the play, cheer until you drop and celebrate with us the power of connection!

Pay what you want
For this performance we work with a Pay What You Want system. You choose the amount that suits your situation:

  • €15,-
  • €22,50 - donation half ticket
  • €30 - whole ticket donation

With a ticket of €22,50 or €30,- you help to make culture accessible for everyone. With your extra contribution we make it possible for someone with less financial space to visit a performance. Together we make sure that everyone is welcome.

About Mies-en-Scène
Mies-en-Scène makes documentary theater for everyone. No actors and play texts, but real people with real stories. From the conviction that theater connects and can make social impact, theater producer Michèle Rijzewijk offers special groups from society a place where they can be heard and seen.

The organization was founded in 2016 in Eindhoven by Michèle Rijzewijk and Annemie Meijer. Since 2020, Peer Roosen has formed the events leadership. Mies-en-Scène worked for years with Parktheater Eindhoven, where Michèle was supported through the Thinx trajectory as a talented young creator. Since then, many co-productions and collaborations have followed.
