Theater met Tolk is a foundation that strives to make performing arts accessible to a deaf audience. Theater met Tolk wants deaf people to be able to go to the theater and enjoy what is shown just like hearing people. This is made possible through the use of sign and/or written interpreters.
Deaf and hard of hearing people like to visit theater performances, musicals and cabaret. At a performance or concert, they miss parts of the text or the music. With a sign or sign language interpreter there is a better, more complete experience of the live performance possible, and the evening out becomes much more enjoyable.
