About René
With 2636, his previous performance, René won the Poelifinario, the award for best cabaret program. This successor Noodzakelijk kwaad was also nominated for that award immediately afterwards. Van Meurs has past event a fixture of comedy collective Comedytrain for years. He won the jury and audience award at Cameretten, toured sold-out venues with five full-length programs and was nominated for the Neerlands Hoop in 2018 .
