Jelle and Ruben present an evening about the increasing influence of China and the waning power of Russia, and about the countries of Central Asia, which are caught between the two great powers. Together, but also separately, they talk about their experiences and personal encounters in China, Russia and the rest of Asia.

Illustrated by Ruben Terlou’s (who is not only a program maker but also a photographer) beautiful photographs. It’s a performance full of poignant moments, but also funny stories. And last but not least, it will be an educational evening. Because if you want to understand our rapidly changing world, you need to understand the role of Russia and China.
