In Wild Woman, Princess brings the myth of La Loba to life in a physical, visual and musical performance. In this story, read in Women Who Run With Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Bone Woman collects the lost bones of wolves and sings them back to life with her soulful voice. A metaphor for rediscovering the wild core.
Inspired by African spiritual traditions such as Vodun/Vodou, and fueled by Afro-futuristic soundscapes, metal, rap and ritual, a mythical and dystopian world full of live music, trance, physicality and visuals appears. The audience becomes part of a collective act of healing and transformation.
Wild Woman - Part I: The Bone Collector is a poetic and raw search for voice, body and soul in times of inner and social crisis. This is the first part of a diptych; part two tours in season 27-28.

About Princess Isatu Hassan Bangura
Princess Isatu Hassan Bangura (1996) is a multidisciplinary performance artist and a graduate of the Toneelacademie Maastricht. Her work moves between ritual, theater, music and visual storytelling and draws from Vodun cosmology and West African spiritual traditions. She creates personas that carry fragments of personal and collective history in which the mythical and the individual merge. She previously created Great Apes of the West Coast, awarded the Theo d'Or for most groundbreaking performance and nominated for the BNG Bank Theater Prize 2024.
