In Please don't make love to me, I'm exhausted everyone tries to survive by chasing small moments of happiness. A clown in an interrogation room keeps folding balloon dogs while the questions go on and on. A merman drags on, longing for water. Two stand-up comedians try desperately to elicit laughter from an icy audience.

About DeRonde/Deroo
DeRonde/Deroo, consisting of Tom de Ronde and Nick Deroo, makes cinematic, physical and acrobatic theater. The body is always the starting point. In surreal and absurdist dream worlds, they explore the possibilities and limitations of the body to arrive at a poetic and unpredictable eloquence.
In 2025, DeRonde/Deroo received the Wim Bary Stipendium from the Culture Fund for their promising oeuvre. Their performances are performed nationally and internationally and have received multiple awards.
