Masterclass

In the past two years she created three major performances of her own and was artistic director of the United Ukrainian Ballet Company. Igone's life has revolved around ballet since her childhood. After a career of more than 25 years, she responds with this master class to the demand to share her personal experiences and knowledge with the audience.

"I myself experienced very early on what it is like to have to perform at the highest level. That top sports mentality has brought me a lot and I am convinced, especially after my time as artistic director of the United Ukrainian Ballet Company, that I have a lot to give and add to the methodologies for the current generation of dancers." In Masterclass Igone coaches live varying pupils in learning major classical work, after which the pupils perform this piece, accompanied by live piano. By means of video fragments, quotes and an interview, in this masterclass we get to know Igone better as a person, dancer and coach. Masterclass promises to be an evening full of love for dance, dance practice and personal story. A unique insight into the life of our prima ballerina.
