Top comediennes Jelka van Houten and Sanne Wallis de Vries shine in LIFT, a new razor-sharp comedy by Kees Prins and Roel Bloemen. Two childhood friends check each other again after years at a funeral. One gives the other a ride home, which ends up in a bizarre and upsetting road trip. Memories, misunderstanding, missed turns and confrontational intersections are the tried and true ingredients for this hilarious evening of theater.

Kees Prins and Roel Bloemen, after the enormous success of EEN MAN EEN MAN, with Pierre Bokma and Kees Prins and in reprise with Peter Blok and Peter Heerschop, are again writing an absurd comedy about friendship. The infectiously vile humor is written for Jelka van Houten (a.o. Tropenjaren and LOL: Last One Laughing) and Sanne Wallis de Vries (a.o. Koefnoen, Hockeyfathers and Mees Kees).
