A divorce. A house that can't be sold. And feelings that won't let themselves be moved. What happens when two exes, with their adolescents, their frustrations and their unfinished emotions, end up under the same roof again due to housing shortages and bad luck? How long can that go well?
In Roommates , we follow Claudia, Kai and their adolescent daughters during a year filled with misunderstandings, new loves, old feelings and far too little privacy. As they are forced to continue living together, they struggle with their divorce, their children, their new lovers, and especially with themselves.
Some feelings prove more persistent than you care to admit. As boundaries blur and emotions clash, it becomes painfully and hilariously clear that love sometimes returns when you least expect it.
Roommates is a sharp, recognizable and wonderfully honest romantic comedy about life as it is: messy, touching and often incredibly funny. For anyone who lives together, has lived together, or keeps trying valiantly to do so.
