The performance is based on the award-winning picture book by Joke van Leeuwen. Using her drawings as inspiration, personages, scenery and costumes come to life. Joke herself is on play as narrator, illustrator and musician, together with actress Sarah Jonker.

About Lieke Benders & Joke van Leeuwen
Theater producer Lieke Benders has past event working successfully with Joke van Leeuwen for some time. She based the performance Niet wiet, wel nel ( winner Zilveren Krekel 2013) on the book of the same name and wrote a new text forNiet vergeten. In Heb je mijn zusje gezien? and in Hoeheettut, nominated for the PodiumKids Publieksprijs 2024, Joke van Leeuwen herself is on play.
Especially for the 2026-2027 season, Heb je mijn zusje gezien? returns, after previous successful tours through the Netherlands and Flanders for a new generation of 2.5-year-olds.
