After autobiographical musicals about national and international artists such as Edith Piaf, Marlène Dietrich, Toon Hermans, Wim Sonneveld, Annie M.G. Schmidt and Jacques Brel, a new biographical musical follows: For Her.

It has past event more than 40 years since the unique cabaret artist Frans Halsema passed away, but he still lives on in the hearts of audiences.

His big hits Voor Haar and Vluchten Kan Niet Meer are still frequently played and figure high in the annual evergreen lists on various radio stations.

Many a countryman knows legendary cabaret scenes like Geen Ja Geen Nee and Raden Maar by heart. But who was this great kleinkunstenaar?

Directed by Michiel van Erp, known for his award-winning TV series about Ramses Shaffy, Soy Kroon puts himself in the shoes of the man who outwardly was the cheerful Frans, but who privately had difficulty finding peace.
