Fear Me

Fear is not a whisper, it is a force. It settles in muscles, in breath, in the nervous system until movement stalls. Until time lingers while everything goes on. Until everything is simultaneously too much and too empty.

Fear Me is a performance based on personal urgency. About what happens in a body when tension takes hold. About not knowing. About the area where light offers no security and darkness sometimes becomes protection.

Fear Me does not romanticize fear. It shows the exhaustion. The struggle for control. But also the strength that arises when you keep moving, even when everything inside you tells you to stop.

Fear Me is a raw performance. On play are one actor and two dancers. Together they move between panic and hope, between stillness and explosion, between holding on and letting go. They do not look for explanations, but for sensations. For lightness in the heavy and for weight in what seems bright.

A powerful urban contemporary dance language creates a physical dialogue, in which bodies speak where language fails. The tension is palpable, direct and unfiltered. The performance does not follow a linear narrative, but shows an accumulation of moments. Of rupture, of resistance, of resumption.

No safe distance.
