We take you to a time of no future, housing shortage and unemployment. But also the time of tousled hair, shoulder pads, glitter and the Walkman. The time when six young women (some as young as 18) step into a format devised by men. In the same outfits, as "singing dolls," on their way to full houses and great successes. Until they feel: this is our life too. And they decide to take matters into their own hands. For themselves, and for each other.
Expect an energetic evening with a great cast with every night 'The Dot of the Day' from the original Dolly Dots as a guest. With a live band on play, a top cast of the most promising musical talents of the moment like Teuntje Post, Pip Lucas, Kiki Loonstra, Yara Brand, Shanna Slaap and Juliette van Leeuwen. Directed by Geert Lageveen and a completely new text written by Tamara Bos. Sing along to all the iconic hits, including Love Me Just a Little Bit More, Radio, (Tell It All About) Boys, Do Wah Diddy Diddy, She's a Liar and Hela-di-ladi-lo.
