Where Piet van Eeghen in his, according to the NRC, "strong first cabaret program" scrutinized his own mind in a funny and original way, he breaks his head about everything that happens between him and his "fellow man" in his second program The Sweet Peace.

Longing for others, but wanting to stick them behind the wallpaper when they're there. Making a fist with wobbly knees and meanwhile being a teacher for ten years. Shuffling uncomfortably at physical contact, but bursting into tears at the first hug.

In short: a barrel of contradictions that Piet must discuss and sing about.

With absurdist songs, twisty concoctions and witty outpourings, Piet takes you along in his attempts to find a balance between showing your teeth and keeping the peace.
