Cafe Habibi is a musical theater experience in which De Niemanders literally give asylum seekers a play. The performance builds on the album of the same name and brings together a unique mix of singers, vocalists, musical styles and languages.
The 12-member musical family moves through the show like a globe on legs. From Arabic floorkillers to opera, always carried by soul, gospel and alternative rock. The audience is taken into a self-created universe in which rhythm, energy and emotion constantly reinforce each other.
After performing at major festivals like Down the rabbit hole, in pop halls and at the King's Day concert, Cafe Habibi can now be seen in theaters for the first time. An evening that moves, connects and invites to dance.
