SERVICE
Handy to know to make your visit as pleasant as possible
Service desk
Do you have questions or comments during your theater visit? You can visit the service desk, next to the main entrance box office, before curtain-up, during intermission and after the performance.
Programs and hearing-aid equipment are also available at the service desk.
Introductions
At many dance, opera and theater performances you can attend an introduction prior to the performance. During the introduction you get more (background) information about the performance, the artists and the director's choices. The performance information on the website, in the program guide and on the ticket indicates whether there is an introduction and where it will take place. Introductions are free and there is no need to make reservations.
Break during the performance
(Break) consumption
For most performances, a drink* is included with your ticket to provide better service during intermission. Is there a break? Then your drink will be waiting for you at the intermission buffet. Is there no intermission? Then you can get a drink before or after at the bar upon showing your ticket. Valid only on the day of the performance. For youth performances and performances at Pand P and Natlab, drinks are not included.
*The drinks are from the Dutch beverage assortment (coffee/tea, fris, house wine and beer). For special wines, special beer we ask a small surcharge.
Break and end time
Whether there is an intermission during the performance is determined by the company. The intermission time and end time, if known, are listed in the performance information and service email. The intermission lasts an average of twenty minutes.
The end time of the performance is always an estimate and subject to change. The actual end time depends on improvisation, applause, encores, etc.

Useful to know
Phones
Is your phone a night out too? Cell phones and theater do not go well together. Besides being a nuisance in the theatre, phones also interfere with the transmitters of the technical equipment. In the Theatercafé is the House with a Safe where you can charge your phone during the performance.
Free wardrobe
We will guard your coat free of charge until the end of the performance. The management does not assume liability for theft or loss.
Latecomers
To avoid disturbing your late entry, you may enter the auditorium after the performance has begun only upon the direction of our staff. In consultation with the artist/company, latecomers may enter through the back entrance if necessary. Some companies do not allow you to enter the auditorium after the performance has begun.
Disappointed? Let us know!
Did the performance not meet your expectations? During the interval (or after the performance if there is no interval) and in return for your ticket, you can fill out a feedback form at the Service Desk.
You will be notified by telephone or in writing. You can of course also give your reaction by phone (during opening hours) on 040-2 11 11 22 or by email to parktheater.
