What would it be like... to be Dikkie Dik? If you could walk on all fours and couldn’t talk, but could purr instead? If you could lie down in crazy places - or just run over the keys of a piano? 

Will you join in? It's all possible in Dikkie Dik & Ik - because it's a party! It's the orange tomcat's birthday. Two actors bring the world of Dikkie Dik to life with physical stage play, and lots of slapstick and humor. They perform a game of disappearing and appearing, with fantasy and reality. With original Dikkie Dik illustrations by Jet Boeke.

About the Picture Book Festival
This performance is part of the Picture Book Festival. In the garden, on your balcony, right in front of you on the street: animals are actually all around us! Searching for little crawlers on the ground, singing birds in the air and purring cats on the street: join us on an adventure and discover all the animals in the garden!
Experience stands central.
Both performances in the festival (Coco kan het! and Dikkie Dik & Ik) are accompanied by a children's playground in the foyer, and together they’ll create a complete theater experience for toddlers, preschoolers and their parents.
