The memorable story about the Jewish Edo and Lexje Hornemann
Thu 4 May ’23
19:45 - 21:00

On May 4th, the day we commemorate all Dutch victims from the Second World War, Martijn Docters will tell the impressive story of his murdered Jewish cousins Edo and Lexje Hornemann.

The Hornemann family, living at 29 Staringstraat in Eindhoven, consisted of father Flip, mother Bets and their sons Eduard and Alexander. A typical Eindhoven family like so many others, the only difference was that they were Jewish.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM and close at 7:45 PM. The lecture will start with two minutes of silence due to National Remembrance Day. Afterwards, Martijn will take the audience through the dramatic events that his family members had to endure during the Second World War.
