What if your brain is your biggest blessing and your biggest pitfall? In Twee procent Bas Birker takes the audience inside his head, where reason and feeling constantly get in each other's way. A sharp, recognizable and very funny quest for cleverness, self-knowledge and stupid choices.

There you are, with your test results. Turns out you belong to the smartest two percent of the population. And having done nothing with it all these years. Blessed with a good brain,' they say. But isn't it actually cursed? Because what good is a brain if it only allows you to look back on all your stupid actions?

In his latest comedy show, Bas Birker delves into the wonderful world beneath his brain. Because you can rely on your ratio for more than 40 years because you never learned anything else; when your gut suddenly starts to run away with you, you run into yourself so many times that you can start a comedy duo with yourself. And so Bas tells how a smart guy did stupid things. And why you are blessed with a simple view of the world and damned if you think you know everything. About Bas
With Two Percent Bas Birker is ready for his sixth theatre show. Furthermore, Bas has past event one of the regular columnists of Het Middagjournaal of Nieuwe Feiten on Radio 1 for many years. He is currently touring with a selection from these columns, during a lecture entitledDearest Countrymen. Bas is also one of the regular "Table Jumpers" in Gert's Table (GoPlay).
