The Sunshine Boys

The Sunshine Boys is a world-famous play classic by Neil Simon from 1972. The play was successfully filmed and performed countless times and is now getting a new Dutch interpretation.

Two variety artists once formed a successful duo. After more than a decade of radio silence, the grumbling variety artists are brought together to perform their most famous skit one more time. Old successes, however, prove no guarantee for a smooth reunion. Mutual reproaches and bottled-up frustrations determine the atmosphere. Only when one of them suffers a heart attack do the sharp edges disappear and room is created for vulnerability.

The Sunshine Boys is a comical and moving performance about two people who, despite everything, are inseparable for life.
