Remko Vrijdag once again takes to the play alone. This promises another unpredictable evening full of absurd twists and turns. His first solo show Friday, Doomsday was unanimously praised.

NRC gave the performance five balls and the show was nominated for a Poelifinario, the most important cabaret award. Critics especially praised Vrijdag's ability to bring chaos, fantasy and social commentary together in his own inimitable style.

In Marko Maandag Remko Vrijdag continues along this line and takes the audience by the hand to a world where anything is possible. Well, quite a lot. With new stories, songs, unexpected perspectives and, jawohl, persiflages. Especially that of a certain ex-premier who keeps calling Daddy and haunting him. It drives him nuts. Or maybe he already is, our jester in this crazy world?

One thing is certain. In this performance Remko Vrijdag will finally answer the question: who is the real Marko Maandag?

About Remko Vrijdag
Remko Vrijdag (1972) became known as a member of the cabaret trio De Vliegende Panters, which broke through in the 1990s with fast-paced, absurdist shows and successful TV series. He later made three successful shows together with Martine Sandifort, as the duo Vrijdag & Sandifort. Besides theater, Vrijdag plays regularly in Dutch films and series. On play, he made his first solo program Vrijdag, Doemsdag in 2024, which received rave reviews and was nominated for a Poelifinario.
