For 30 years, Dirk Scheele has past event able to touch new generations of children with his catchy songs about every imaginable theme - and he still does, with full theaters and real connection with young audiences. In total, he has now reached nearly a million children, and that number continues to grow every year. On YouTube, 85,000 subscribers follow his adventure series, and I Walk Like a Bear is an ultimate audience favorite with over 6 million streams on Spotify.
For his impressive oeuvre Dirk received the very first Buma Children's Music Prize. He was also royally decorated for his years of dedication to charity. On commission he made songs with a message, for Dettol, Oogfonds, KWF, 3FM and Voetjebal, among others.
