When you think of Bollywood, you think of the largest film industry in the world India. When you think of masala, you think of that magical blend of spices. Bollywood Masala brings these two worlds together in a large-scale dance show that weaves film, dance and Indian gastronomy into a festive musical comedy.

The show tells the story of famed Indian chef Mr. Kari Balti, inventor of on-location catering during the period when the film industry was emerging. A sparkling adventure unfolds in this dazzling production full of joyful dancing, more than 300 colorful costumes, epic romance, comedy and well-known Bollywood hits.

The performance follows the traditional masala movie formula, in which emotions, genres and spectacle mix unhindered. The musicians play ethnic themes on traditional instruments such as zither, drum and sarangi. The entire production exudes the vibrant energy of Mumbai.
