Grab the Vibe

Eighteen Eindhoven youth went in search of the Giselle in themselves. What does a classical ballet like Giselle have to do with young people today? Under the guidance of professionals - theater makers, script writer, costume designer, sound producer and a photographer - they explored their creative talents and worked on an exhibition, based on the youth performance Giselle playing at the Parktheater.

During the project Pak de VIBE, students of the Huygens Lyceum sharpened their artistic skills and reflected on themes that affect them personally. The result is an exhibition of photographs, coupled with homemade props, self-written and voiced monologues. They invite you to reflect on questions such as: how do I live with others, and how do I look beyond my own perspective?

This exhibition is part of the social service time project Pak de VIBE, in which young people discover that their curiosity and ability to connect are valuable talents.

Who we check and who we are

Seventeen Eindhoven bridge students went in search of the stories of the people around them. With an inquisitive eye, they entered into conversation with random passers-by. They captured the people on film and turned their words into listening stories. This expo invites you to watch and listen to the stories of these people from Eindhoven and to become curious about the stories of the people you pass in silence.

Parktheater works from the mission 'More than you' and encourages people to look at each other with an open mind. During the social service project 'Pak de Vibe', young people developed this expo that focuses on curiosity and connection.

During the Pak de Vibe projects, young people develop the skills they are passionate about. In Pak de VIBE the municipality of Eindhoven cooperates with Lumens, Parmant Scholen, the Parktheater and Brainport.
