About SamenThuis
Not everyone can go to the theater (yet) - but theater can come to you. We have past event bringing live performances to nursing homes together with Vitalis WoonZorg Groep since 2014. What began as a local initiative has since grown into a recurring moment of encounter, experience and connection. Besides Vitalis WoonZorg Groep, Archipel Zorggroep and Valkenhof are also permanent partners in this project.

About the Christmas Winter Circus
This year we will once again bring the best and most beautiful acts and artists from all over the world to Eindhoven and present a brand new program. Like the spectacular acrobatic Duo Laos, breathtaking arial act of Susan & Ksenia and amazing stunts of the Cheban Troupe. You will also check jugglers and other surprising tricks, all accompanied by a live orchestra. Also this year, Arjan Smit is the ringmaster of the Christmas Winter Circus.

Frequently Asked Questions

We can imagine that you still have questions. Below are the most frequently asked questions about livestreaming.

The frequently asked questions are continuously updated with new questions and answers.

For whom is the broadcast intended?

The livestream is part of the Parktheater's SamenThuis project. Not everyone can go to the theater (yet) - but theater can come to you. That is why we broadcast a theater performance live 3 or 4 times a year. We do this to care locations of Vitalis WoonZorg Groep, Archipel Zorggroep and Valkenhof. The aim is for residents of these locations to enjoy the livestream together, for example in an auditorium or restaurant. The livestreams have a private character and are intended for residents and stakeholders of the care locations.

This livestream will be offered to care locations for joint viewing and to children's wards of hospitals, where children can watch together or individually. The livestream is not intended for in a home situation.

Are there any costs attached to the broadcast?

There is no charge to participate. This broadcast is offered free of charge by the Parktheater.

When will I receive the link and/or code?

You will receive the access code a few days before the livestream. The broadcast will take place via the Parktheater's livestream platform, which you can reach via stream.parktheater.nl.

What time does the broadcast start?

The starting time of Christmas Winter Circus is 16:00. Once you are logged in with the access code you will check a welcome text with countdown timer. From about 15 minutes before the start you will check a welcome screen in the player. Once this is visible you can set the player to full screen for the best viewing experience. The broadcast will then start automatically.

What is the best way to watch the broadcast?

If you are watching with a large group, we recommend using a beamer with screen or large TV screen. We are broadcasting Christmas Winter Circus via Parktheater's livestream platform. It can be accessed through any modern brower, but we recommend using Edge or Chrome.

Once you are logged in with the access code you will check a welcome text with countdown timer. From about 15 minutes before curtain-up you will check a welcome screen in the player. As soon as it is visible you can switch the player to full screen for the best viewing experience. The broadcast will then start automatically.

What if there are (technical) problems?

We use a joint WhatsApp group. In this we keep in touch with all staff and/or volunteers at the locations where joint viewing is taking place. Individual viewers can contact us by email or telephone.

The support from the Parktheater only relates to the broadcast. For example: problems with the access code. For technical problems at your location, for example with laptops, internet or beamers, we refer you to a technical service or ICT colleague of your care location or hospital.
