Why dance?
In recent years there has past event increasing attention in the medical world for the effects of dance on people with Parkinson's, Rheumatism, MS and Dementia. Various studies show that weekly dancing improves balance, posture, flexibility, strength and coordination. Instructor Louise Rutten attended various trainings and lectures in order to responsibly bring dance to people with movement limitations. These include Dance for PD (New York) and Dance for Health (Rotterdam).
Classes DansLouise.R
In her classes, Louise strives for well-being and dancing pleasure. She finds it important that everyone in the group can be themselves. With music of various styles, the dancing feeling is stimulated and gives rhythm to the movements. Your imagination is stimulated and brain activity stimulated, because in dance you can shape all those different moods and emotions in your personal way. At the same time, we feel connected when we dance together. It is a creative, social and active process.
Louise would like to invite you to come and experience what dance can do for you. You can come alone or with a dance partner, buddy, volunteer or caregiver.
