Buddy for Each Other

With Buddy for Each Other, locals and international residents come together during six inspiring gatherings at the Parktheater. In small groups, you’ll engage in conversation, practice Dutch, and discover each other’s cultures. This leads to new encounters, meaningful conversations, and valuable connections.

Everyone is welcome. You don’t need any experience or to be good at anything. All you need is curiosity and a desire to meet others. Signing up is easy via this link.

What is Buddy for Each Other?
Buddy for Each Other is a free program where locals and international residents get to know each other better. Over the course of six sessions, you’ll work together on language, culture, and building connections. You’ll be guided by experienced coaches from STE Languages and Wasbeer & Pauw. The sessions take place backstage at the Parktheater—a special place to meet one another in a relaxed atmosphere.

Who is it for?
Buddy for Each Other is for international residents who want to practice their Dutch and meet new people. It’s also for locals who are curious about other cultures and want to make a difference in someone else’s life. Together, you’ll build new connections and a stronger sense of home, one step at a time.

• To help participants stay in touch outside of the meetings, they receive a buddy bag containing, among other things, a card game and a chat box.

You’re more than welcome to attend the meetings, which take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Dressing Room C8 at the Parktheater.
