Vision

The Parktheater has always considered being of significance to everyone to be a laudable ambition. Being meaningful in a society means being part of that society. We are part of the greater whole. With the responsibility for together. And within that, an essential role for art, culture and creativity.

Parktheater is seeking a new balance that takes more account of different audiences. With diversity and inclusiveness. That takes into account the world around us.

Parktheater has committed to the sustainable development goals (SDGs) since 2020. These 17 sustainability goals designated by the United Nations are intended to ensure a better world in 2030. As Parktheater we cannot save the whole world, but on our own cultural and theatrical square meter we can pull out all the stops to contribute. With our program, our projects and connections in art, culture and creativity.

Parktheater wants to be sustainable, holistic and connecting. We believe that people make the difference. We want to be a theater that ensures that everyone has the opportunity to participate. To visit the theatre. To touch the theatre. To take the theatre. Everyone is welcome and invited to participate.

Parktheater uses theater to broaden the view and offer perspectives. To create a more fun, more beautiful city.

Mission 

More Than You...
Parktheater 's mission is to actively seek inspiration, bring and share inspiration. To consciously seek dialogue about current themes. Actively seeking that other. To be current in our program and projects. In the halls and on location to give visitors the opportunity to rediscover themselves and the other.

We continue to take and pluck inspiration from everywhere. With work ethic, we turn it into action. And as a result, we demonstrably touch the hearts of others. And make our dreams come true together. Do we connect better with larger goals and movements to make the world a better place for all.

Make dreams come true - it will be more beautiful and real than you think
Carrying out dreams is no longer enough. Making dreams come true becomes the activating motto. For creators, artists, audiences, residents and employees.

Create pride - then it feels better than you think
Dare to be even more proud of what we do and why we do it. Bringing artists, audiences and residents along in that pride.

Take one and a half steps more courageously - then more is possible than you think
Show more courage to get closer to that other person.

Laugh at yourself and with others - then more opens up than you think
Humor remains of utmost importance. He who can laugh at himself keeps a healthy distance from his own ego. Whoever can laugh with the other creates an opening. In both cases there is room for a twist, a turn, an insight with new perspective.

By bringing people, resources and possibilities together, a plan, an idea, a wish, a meeting comes closer and comes to fruition.
