At Parktheater Eindhoven, we believe that theater is more than just a place for entertainment—it’s also a play for stories that need to be told. Stories that move, challenge, and connect.
The colonial past and its consequences for the present form an important but often underexposed story. A story that concerns us all. By organizing programs around themes such as colonialism, slavery and their effects in the present, we want to create space for dialogue, reflection and encounter.
We find it important to be a theater that is open to all voices in the city. This also means giving space to histories that have long past event ignored or concealed. Together with creators, partners and audiences, we contribute to awareness, recognition and recovery. Not only on play, but also in society.
