Baking has never been as hip as it is now. Home-baker Rutger van den Broek (known from Heel Holland Bakt) and theater maker Mark Haayema will tell you everything about baking: from grain to white flour and from milk to butterfat cream. 

Kees the Koekenbakker will also come along, singing hits such as: 'Sugar, butter, flour & egg' and 'De koek is op'. Songs loved by all. The Verrukkelijke Kinderbakshow is a cheerful and educational show in which all the senses are stimulated by smelling, tasting, listening, looking and feeling! Do you have a burning question about baking? Then bring that too!

About Rutger and Mark
As a child, Rutger would climb onto the kitchen counter while his mother was baking. In 2013, he won the first edition of Heel Holland Bakt, after which he decided to devote himself to baking full-time. Rutger has written 10 baking books, including 't Verrukkelijke kinderbakboek, together with Mark in 2019. His bestsellers Bakbijbel and Koekjesbijbel have now sold more than 100,000 copies. Rutger also has a popular baking blog: RutgerBakt.nl.

Mark is a theater maker, writer and actor. He writes children's books and song lyrics for Herman van Veen (Lucas, Als je) and Kinderen voor Kinderen (Worden wat je wil, Sorry and Andersom), among others. This year, his 21st children's book Onkruid will be published, and he is writing a second book of poems with drawings by Fiep Westendorp. Mark has appeared as an actor and puppeteer in shows such as De Boterhamshow, Sesamstraat, Pluk van de Petteflet, Meneertje Meer and War Horse.
