Jonathan is a bizarrely poetic performance. An occasionally surprising conversation between a robot, a human and the audience. An evening full of wonder and doubt about what it means to be human and, therefore, have to deal with surprises and setbacks.

There are clashes between love and forgiveness, destruction and renewal. But something magical can also happen: the death of Claudine, due to Covid, marked the birth of Jonathan. The devoted, artificially intelligent caretaker. Care robot Jonathan was deployed when Covid placed residential care centers in lock-down. This robot ensured that some elderly people could still receive proper care, without fear of contamination.
