It is a sequel to his successful show Even Slikken, with which he performed in Dutch theaters several years ago. Now he tells the story of Mister Lasmibalsingh, the Dutch Surinamer who wants to return to his country after 40 years, but finds out that he is a Surinamer all over the world, except in Suriname. There, people now check him as a "tata" anyway so how welcome is he back home?
About Jörgen Raymann
In 1998 the Netherlands was introduced to born entertainer Jörgen Raymann. This did not go unnoticed, as the NTR immediately asked him to host The Comedy Factory, the first standup comedy show on Dutch television. Raymann quickly became a household name in comedy land. He then went on to make successful full-length theater programs for years. In 2001 his own Latenight TV show on NPO was added: Raymann is Late. This highly successful and trendsetting program ran on Dutch TV for over 15 years and was NPO's longest-running Latenight personality program ever. In 2019, he af his theater career with a final tour in the Netherlands.
He retired from the entertainment world and is now a successful speaker and trainer for large organizations, SMEs and the government. Yet he got back on his hips and wrote a new theater program. In 2024 he performed this new show for sold out audiences during a short tour through Suriname where it all started, after all. Now he is coming back to the Netherlands!
