Actually, every day should be a full yes to life. In Het Volle Leven Johan Goossens bravely gets through life with beautiful songs, embarrassing jokes and recognizable stories about wanting to stay under the covers and still get up.

Actually you should say yes to life every day. Get up and go among people. But sometimes that feels like a bigger task than it sounds.

After experiences in education, the darkroom and at a sickbed, Johan Goossens colorfully tells what worlds he has now plunged into. For example, he took a course in alternative therapy, drank hectoliters of star mix and unexpectedly rolled into a board position. In a businesslike voice, he brings up points at meetings, while at night he passively sends aggressive e-mails with: ''it has surprised me that...''

With humor, self-mockery and vulnerability Johan gets through life, although the tendency to hide under the covers remains. Het Volle Leven is a performance full of beautiful songs, absurd observations and stories from life as it really is.

"A keen eye for one's own daily clumsiness."
