An adventure in a world full of wood and imagination
Tue 20 Oct '26
15:00 - 15:45

In Houtje, a beautiful piece of wood gets in the way. Two makers set out singing, making sense and investigating to discover where this Houtje comes from. A physical, musical and visual performance for everyone aged 3 and up.

Viko and Thor are carpentry while singing in their workshop. Then suddenly there is a Wood lying in the way. It doesn't fit anywhere. It doesn't belong anywhere. Such a beautiful and rough and special piece of wood cannot be a problem. To the rhythm of sawing, chopping and planing, they go in search of the story behind this unexpected piece of wood.

During a journey through wood shavings, splinters and plasters, they discover a small jungle of possibilities. Wood is about dreaming of wood, daring to get lost along the way and discovering something new. A performance on the cutting edge of theater, woodworking and music.
