People often find it hard to believe that Roel and Jos are brothers, because they are so different from each other. After battling it out on television for seven seasons, they now do so live in the theater. Facing each other, with humor as their weapon.
Verbroedering is a topical cabaret performance about a democracy under pressure, a climate that is derailing and artificial intelligence that may make us obsolete. How to deal with that. With hope or pessimism. With adaptation or staying yourself. With a wink or a witticism. In short, with Roel or with Jos.
The Netherlands now has two iconic brothers. In 1672 there were the De Witt brothers, in 1995 the De Boer brothers and in 2002 the Ko brothers. Roel and Jos have no horn and no watercraft, but they do have a full-length performance.
