Your phone a night out too?
Put it on the charger in the House with a Safe
Cell phones and theater do not go well together. In the theater it can be distracting; for yourself and for the people around you. Besides being a nuisance in the auditorium, phones also interfere with the transmitters of the technical equipment.
Your phone out for an evening too? Charge it during the performance in the little house in the Theatercafé. And then enjoy your night out!
In the NOW
Your phone out for an evening? It takes some getting used to. But the reward is great. You can purely enjoy the performance. Of relaxation, beauty, emotion, humor.... In short, of being completely in the NOW.
Artists
Having your phone out for an evening is also nice for performers. Artists report being bothered by the light from cell phone screens. The bright light also creates "blue faces" in the venue. That too is not pleasant for the artist.
Charging point
In the Theatercafé is a House with a Safe. There you can charge your phone during the performance. If you don't need to charge it, turn it off during the performance. You'll be contributing to a great night for everyone!
How does it work?
Using the safe is very simple. All you have to do is make up a code (and remember it). You'll find instructions next to the lockers.
Each locker has three cords that fit most brands of phones.
