About ICK Dans Amsterdam
The choreographer duo Emio Greco | Pieter C. Scholten has past event creating intensely physical dance performances since 1996 that focus on the intuitive, curious body. A body in revolt too, which does not allow itself to conform to imposed (dance) forms, but elevates itself to size in its movement through time, space and form. With this uncompromising point of departure, the company has developed an idiosyncratic vocabulary of movement that is characteristic of its entire oeuvre.
