From discomfort and mourning rituals to the first time to the supermarket and the art of remembering. In this performance, Ameline and Wendy take you on the grief rollercoaster with theater, music and personal stories. Humor, sadness and warmth: everything passes by.
This performance is especially for people who have much, little or no experience with the theme. So feel more than free to come together with someone: your bestie, partner, colleague or the woman next door. All equally entertaining.
In the context of World Alzheimer's Day 2025, Parktheater and Eindhoven Library join forces with the joint programming of the poignant performance Op Rouwtour.
About the makers
Ameline Ansu is an author and sociologist. She wrote Van harte gecondoleerd, the book about mourning without a black edge. She also made the NPO 1 Podcast Rouwrituelen and items for Libelle TV.
Wendy Hoogendijk is a theater maker and (TV) presenter. Previously she made the theater performance Radiostilte and played for Police and OM, among others. You can listen to her songs, which she also sings in this new performance, here on Spotify.
