Sixteen-year-old Salomé is in a juvenile detention center because she abused two classmates. Furious she is, and confused. Between her fellow inmates and an irritating psychologist, she tries to keep her cool. But thoughts of her parents and sister and all the things they went through together race through her head. Chaos in her head, because of her experiences in prison, what happened before and what she will soon return to. How does it feel to really belong or to be different?

It's a musical, energetic, heart-pounding theater version of the award-winning book of the same name Confrontaties by Simone Atangana Bekono (Best Book for Young People 2021).

He knows how to make the big and difficult themes in life negotiable and is always looking for genuine emotion, humor and emotion. Collaborations between Theater Utrecht and DOX always result in stimulating, energetic and musical performances.
