Vacancy: Play Technician for 32 hours per week
Parktheater Eindhoven is one of the larger theaters in the Netherlands and reaches about 200,000 visitors annually from Eindhoven and surroundings with a broad programming of about 400 performances per theater season. Parktheater aims to be a theater for everyone and therefore has a very diverse programming. We want to touch the audience and contribute to beautiful encounters between theater makers and the public. The Parktheater is at the center of society and is involved in and initiates various social projects.
Team Podiumtechniek currently consists of fifteen employees and is looking for an enthusiastic new colleague. It does not matter to us what you believe in, who you love or where you come from. We are especially curious to check how you want to use your talent for the Parktheater.
What will you do?
You will build and supervise performances in collaboration with the visiting technicians. There are also other events that are technically supervised by our team. Together with the colleagues of the technical team you will make sure that the operational tasks, such as building sets, building and operating light, sound, video and operating the hoisting installation are carried out. Together with your colleagues you will also take care of the maintenance of the technical resources.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic all-round Play Technician with a passion for theater. You stand firmly in your working shoes and can deal with the freedoms of the Parktheater. In addition, you have a relevant education in Podium Technology and current knowledge of the profession.
You are also:
- A communicatively skilled and social team player, with a hands-on mentality who can also work well independently.
- Result-oriented and operational. You like to get to work and can quickly switch between tasks.
- Representative.
- Accurate and can handle work pressure.
- Flexible and find it no problem to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Practical, service-oriented with a proactive attitude.

- A salary in accordance with the challenge of the position and experience (scale 7: € 2,838 - € 4,420 excluding irregularity allowance).
