Wonka Podia en Wildpark gaan on tour met De monteur en het meisje! Samen brengen we deze voorstelling naar open buitenlocaties in Eindhoven, Valkenswaard, Veldhoven, Bergeijk en Helmond. Elk kind (en volwassene) is van harte uitgenodigd om gratis te komen kijken. Op 11 juli speelt de voorstelling op het Snelliushof in Eindhoven.

When Aaron is 11 years old, an unfamiliar man stands in the doorway. His father, Leen, knocks him to the ground. Not even that hard, but the blow is fatal. Leen ends up in prison, and Aaron and his mother Jo are left with a large debt. They struggle their way through life, always on guard. Alleen met de goden shows the effects of poverty and of keeping your head above water when you have nothing. The story is permeated with disaster, but there is a strong positive undercurrent: as long as a person believes in his own strength, he can overcome a great deal.

In keeping with tradition, we are kicking off the 2023/2024 theater season with the best open day of the year! This Sunday, we’ll treat you to free sneak previews of the new season program.  In our theater halls, you’ll see short performances of cabaret shows, youth performances and musicals that can be seen throughout the coming season. An intimate evening of music, conversations and stories. Led by Björn van der Doelen and his band de Huursoldaten, Leo Alkemade, Melissa Jansen, Sem Jansen and Leif de Leeuw and Stevie Ann give us their renditions of their favorite songs. After two successful editions, we are now going for the third! Helden van het Zuiden is a production by Parktheater Eindhoven, Theaterbureau de Mannen and Björn van der Doelen. 

Leave the party on time. Those were words of wisdom from Youp's father. So, Youp’s decided to do just that -- at age seventy! This will be his last theater season. Youp is not placing a period, but rather a festive exclamation mark to close out his enjoyable career. But before that final close, he is traveling with De Laatste Ronde one last time to all the theaters where he has played with so much pleasure over the past fifty years. So, come and laugh one more time at everything that makes life attractive and ridiculous in his eyes. And we all know: that's a lot. A lot, a lot!  At least certainly the way Youp sees and tells it.

Her book Decisionbos will be published in May, with the best decision trees to date as well as new previously unpublished trees. To celebrate the book, Polderman is giving a number of exclusive masterclasses in making decision trees. It's not a cabaret, it's not music, it's not theater, it's not a lecture. Rather, it is an occasional powerpoint presentation in which there is a lot to laugh about and, here and there, something to be learned. Defiant, original and down-to-earth, just as you are used to from this versatile maker.
